Ray White’s #1 Top Performing Real Estate Team in Christchurch

Staying in touch with your roots is so important but The Beachside Boys feel as though Christchurch East and it’s properties have been negatively labeled after the earthquakes.

In response, we are trying to create a community where East Side locals can feel up to date and in touch with whats going on, and we can entice and inspire the broader Christchurch community to be interested in investing in the area.

Christchurch East has so much to offer and we plan on showcasing it!

The Beachside Boys are Town & Lifestyle Real Estate Ltd Licensed (REAA 2008)

For me, business is no different than any other part of life – it’s all about engaging with people, building trust and forming meaningful relationships.

I love getting to know my clients; taking the time to understand their motivations, learn about the challenges they’re facing, and gain a genuine insight into their goals and aspirations. That information allows me to tailor an approach specifically for their needs, aimed at not only achieving the best outcomes, but at making the journey a smooth and enjoyable one as well.

I’m an easy-going, approachable person with a strong work ethic and a professional mindset. I’m a skilled negotiator (I’d be lying if I said my previous experience as a primary school teacher hadn’t contributed to that!) and a highly motivated individual, determined to succeed at everything I take on.

Outside of the office my life revolves around my young family. I’m actively involved in the local community, am a passionate sportsman, and enjoy a wide range of interests and hobbies.

If you’re looking to work alongside an agent who offers both honest advice and quality service, then we should talk.

As a current member of the New Zealand Canoe Racing team, Alex spends most of his mornings and afternoons on the river or in the ocean. When Alex is not out there helping his clients or training you will find him in the water with his surfboard at his local Surf Life Saving Club (South Brighton) where he is also a strong competitor and voluntary lifeguard or spending time with his family in Kaikoura.

Being born here in Christchurch and part of many community organisations like surf lifesaving, swimming and canoe racing clubs, Alex understands the area very well, as well as the community and more importantly the people and their needs towards real estate decisions.

Alex is best known for how hard he works in the sports arena, knowing he is giving 100% to what he is doing through the results he gets. This makes Alex the real estate agent of choice if you are looking for someone who you know won’t leave any stone unturned when it comes to selling your home.

“Houses do sell themselves, But they cannot walk, talk, run, swim, fly, negotiate or create a thriving environment for your home to do its very best in the current market.” Alex says.

After six years away from Christchurch, including teaching in Taiwan and working in Wellington, I made the decision to move home and begin what I believe will be a successful career in real estate. I’d be lying if I said the thought of switching careers hasn’t been daunting at all, but I’d also be lying if I said the transition hasn’t been smooth. During my first meeting with Lance and his team at Ray White Merivale, I realised the office environment is extremely supportive and productive, which in turn, is leading to some really positive results throughout Christchurch. Wanting to be part of such good work, I jumped at the opportunity to join, and so here we are.

Choosing Burwood and Parklands as my preferred area to work in was a simple decision. I’ve lived here, been to school here and even worked here. I love being down at the beach in the summer and having Bottle Lake Forest and its running tracks right on the doorstep. I’m also really excited about the developments occurring in the community; the addition of Shirley Boys High and Avonside Girls alongside the new recreation and sports centre will do wonders for the area with further growth on the way which will no doubt add further incentive to living here.

Being new to any industry always presents challenges. But with my proven work ethic and integrity towards clients and customers alike, I will be able to offer you a professional service which you can rely on to achieve a premium for your home. You can be rest assured that you will be in good hands with myself and the Beachside Boys.
